As we launch, your support means everything. By joining our Affiliate Program, you’re helping grow a grassroots movement that celebrates Canadian creativity, strengthens local economies, and brings people together from coast to coast.
The community is completely free to join for individuals – and once you’re in, you can create a profile, connect with others, join groups, share your story, and follow Canadians who inspire you. It’s a space built for real conversations, meaningful connections, and the celebration of everything local.
Whether you’re a content creator, entrepreneur, or simply someone who believes in buying Canadian, this is your chance to be part of something meaningful from the very beginning – and help others discover it too.
Who Can Join
The Made in Canada Life Affiliate Program is open to anyone who wants to support Canadian businesses and products while earning commission by sharing our platform.
To participate:
You must be 14 years of age or older.
Only real individuals may register—no bots or automated accounts.
You’ll need a valid email address and a PayPal account to receive commission payments.
Whether you’re sharing with friends, building an online audience, or growing your own brand, the program is open to all Canadians (and Canadian supporters) who want to help grow something truly Canadian.
How the Affiliate Program Works (30%)
You don’t need to be a professional marketer to start earning. Whether you’re a creator, small business supporter, or just someone who knows a few friends running a local shop—this program is for you.
When you sign up and get approved, you’ll receive a unique affiliate link and QR code. You can:
Text it to your friends
Share it in Facebook groups or on Instagram
Post it in a business chat or email it directly to someone you know
Whenever someone uses your link to join Made in Canada Life by purchasing a Business Listing, opening a Marketplace Store, or buying a Sponsored/Featured Ad or Product, you earn commission.
What You Earn
30% commission on:
Business Listing or Store subscriptions
Sponsored or Featured Ads or Products
Commissions are recurring, so you earn on renewals and ongoing ad purchases.
Example Affiliate Earnings
Let’s say you refer 25 local businesses using your link. Here’s what that could look like:
Each signs up for a $150/year Business Listing or Store
You earn 30% of $150 = $45 per business
25 businesses × $45 = $1,125 in annual subscription commissions
Now, if 20% of them (5 businesses) also purchase Sponsored Ads at $50/month each:
$50/month × 5 businesses = $250/month in ad spend
You earn 30% of $250 = $75/month
That’s $900 per year in ad commission
Total estimated annual earnings: $2,025
And that’s just with 25 referrals—imagine what you could earn with 50 or 100. The more you share, the more you can grow your income while helping promote Canadian-owned businesses.
Ambassador Program 67% (Affiliate Referrals)
Want to grow your earnings even faster? When you refer someone who becomes an Affiliate, you become an Affiliate Ambassador – and you earn a 67% commission on the earnings of every Affiliate you refer.
This is a powerful way to help others get started while building a strong and ongoing income stream for yourself.
How It Works
When someone signs up as an Affiliate using your referral link, they’re linked to you as their Ambassador.
You earn 67% of all commission they earn—for as long as they remain active.
This bonus is paid by Made in Canada Life and does not affect the Affiliate’s share.
Example
Let’s say you refer Jane, and she becomes an Affiliate:
Jane refers a business that purchases a $150 Business Listing
Jane earns 30% = $45
You earn 67% of $45 = $30.15
Now imagine Jane goes on to refer 25 businesses, with some of them purchasing ads. Based on our earlier example, Jane earns $2,025 per year.
You, as her Ambassador, earn 67% of $2,025 = $1,356.75 per year
Now, let’s say you refer 5 Affiliates like Jane, and they each earn a similar amount:
$1,356.75 × 5 = $6,783.75 per year
And over 5 years, assuming they all stay active:
$6,783.75/year × 5 years = $33,918.75 in total Ambassador commission
This is passive income—you earn it just by helping others join and succeed in the program. The more people you support, the greater your long-term earnings.
Ambassador Guidelines
You must be 14 years or older and have a valid PayPal account to receive commission payments.
There’s no limit to how many Affiliates you can refer.
All standard payout rules and tracking policies apply.
Can I Be Both an Affiliate and an Ambassador?
Yes—you can be both! In fact, it’s the best way to maximize your earnings.
You can:
Earn 30% commission as an Affiliate when someone uses your link to purchase a Business Listing, Marketplace Store, or Sponsored/Featured Ad or Product.
Earn 67% commission as an Ambassador when someone you referred becomes an Affiliate and starts earning commissions of their own.
Example
Let’s say over the course of a year:
You refer 25 businesses directly → you earn $2,025 as an Affiliate
You also refer 3 new Affiliates who each earn $2,000 → you earn $4,020 as their Ambassador
Total earnings: $6,045 in one year
By building both your business referral network and helping others do the same, you create two powerful streams of income—all while supporting Canadian entrepreneurs.
Payout & Tracking
We keep things simple, transparent, and reliable when it comes to paying out your commissions.
How Payouts Work
Commission payouts are processed twice per month — around the 1st and 15th.
You must have a minimum of $50 CAD in earned commissions to receive a payout.
All payouts are made via PayPal. You must have a valid PayPal account to participate.
Commissions are paid out after the transaction is successfully processed and past the refund window of 10 Days, to ensure accuracy and legitimacy.
How Tracking Works
Your affiliate link and QR code are tied to a 180-day tracking cookie.
If someone clicks your link or scans your QR code, a tracking cookie is placed on their device.
If they purchase within 60 days, you receive full credit for the commission.
If they click another affiliate’s link during that time, the most recent link clicked takes priority.
This applies to:
Business Listings
Marketplace Stores
Sponsored/Featured Ads or Products
Renewals of any of the above

You May Not:
Use your affiliate link to sign up your own business under a different name or fake profile
Make false or misleading claims about Made in Canada Life or its features
Misrepresent your role (e.g., claiming to be an employee or official partner)
Use spam tactics (such as mass emailing strangers or buying fake traffic)
Engage in any promotion that violates Canadian laws, including CASL (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation), consumer protection, or advertising standards
We’re building a community based on trust and transparency—and your reputation matters just as much as ours.
Ending Participation & Legal Info
Leaving the Program
You’re free to leave the Made in Canada Life Affiliate Program at any time. Just contact us through your Affiliate Dashboard or support email, and we’ll deactivate your account.
If you have $50 or more in unpaid earned commissions at the time you leave, we’ll still send your final payout—so long as there were no rule violations.
Removal from the Program
We reserve the right to remove you from the program if:
You violate our Promotion Guidelines
You attempt to abuse the system (e.g., self-referrals under false identities)
You engage in fraudulent behavior, misleading claims, or harmful conduct toward the brand or community
In cases of rule violations, commissions may be withheld or canceled at our discretion.
Legal Disclaimer
As an Affiliate or Ambassador, you are participating as an independent promoter, not as an employee, contractor, or partner of Made in Canada Life.
You are responsible for reporting your commission income in accordance with your local tax laws.
Made in Canada Life is not liable for any losses or damages arising from your participation in the program.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued participation means you accept the current version.
